Answer should be E, We have 2 equations with 4 variables. We need to know 2 more variables (C and K) so to bring it to 2 equations and 2 variables which is solvable. Hence answer E

Statement 1: C=12
EQ 1 -> 4y=12-3x
Let's put this in EQ2
we end up having the value of K=9
and now if we use this we are having 2 equations with 2 variables.
likewise, both statements are sufficient, the answer should be D.
why E is correct here?
because EQ1 =3*EQ2??
