I gave my GMAT yesterday and got a score of 440.
I know I am capable of a better score but, the distractions and lack of focus got better of me. I am retaking the exam in middle of December and am sure will get better.
One of the major mistakes other than my complacency is relying on too much of material. I followed whatever that I could lay my hands on.

How to ace GMAT in 40 days
Clearly the last title showed my state of mind and approach.
After taking the test, I came to my senses and decided to prepare more methodically than random readings through materials and preptools. I prepared my first ever error log for OG-2016 yesterday night and think I am on the right path.
The major reason for this post is to find my peers here with the same dire-necessity to cross the 700 mark. I know the jump is a huge one, but my desired B-school doesn't care about any lesser score. Either I make it or kill the dreams. Like they say, when you travel in company, the journey is merrier and less tiresome.

I need a suggestion. I'm little bit confuse that what should i go for either GMAT or GRE?
I started preparing for GMAT for about a month but now some one suggested me to go for GRE because it is far more easier than GMAT.

From your post, it's not clear how you were preparing for the GMAT. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) How did you score on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
3) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores when you scored 440?
Goals:
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you can train to score at a higher level.
