So, you can report 5 schools, your score.
My question is, what is the advantage of reporting the 5 schools directly instead of reporting it by yourself? I know that if you want GMAC to report to school later, there will be a fee. But why not report directly yourself?

The scores that you report are considered as the unofficial score report by the schools... They will require a report from gmac in order to verify the same...

So does that mean that all of the schools that I apply to, have to get the report from GMAC in addition to the self reported or that depends on the school?

Some schools are okay with receiving the official scores AFTER you have been accepted but many require that you submit your official scores while you are applying... But eventually, the school that you end up going to will have to have accepted your official scores..
