Hi RNtoMBA,

Many GMATers get 'stuck' at a particular Score level during their studies, so you are not alone. One of the great aspects of this Exam though is that most questions are written so that they can be solved in more than one way - meaning that to earn a big bump-up in your Scores, you have to consider more than just the questions that you are getting wrong. For example, trying to answer every Quant question in under 2 minutes each is actually terrible pacing advice. Two minutes per question is the AVERAGE amount of time that you'll spend per Quant question (assuming that you answer all 31 questions and use all 62 minutes of your time) - but certain 'gettable' questions will require that you spend up to 3 minutes of time (and certain other questions should be dumped immediately).

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used so far?
2) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi RNtoMBA,

I'm sorry to hear about what is going on with your GMAT. I'm happy to provide some advice but would also like to learn more about your situation with the GMAT. Once you respond to the questions already asked, I can provide some advice.
