Congratulations! It is AMAZING post! + 1 kudos from me. I will save your debrief and re-read it again, because you actually answered some of my questions in thread and my initial score was about 500.
You're very welcome Pkit! I'm glad to hear it helped, let me know if I can help!

This post will help me tremendously in my studies. I've got the MGMAT books, even the Math Foundations and the OG Companion. At 41, I seriously want an MBA but it will be tough relearning all this material. Each one of these success stories has something I can glean for my own studies. So thank you!
Someone posted a set of work and rate problems in one of their debriefs and I spent one whole day (i.e. 8 hours) just solving those 20 or so problems. Sounds like a lot of time for 20 problems but I literally did them about 6 or 7 times each until it was automatic. After all the work and rate problems which the test makers will include in your actual GMAT will be built on a very similar structure (if not the exact same structure).

Can you provide the link to this post? I would also be interested in the extra practice for work/rate problems
I'm not sure how to link to another thread but if you type "Leilak work rate" in the search field it is the first hit!
Be sure to give leilak kudos, the collection of problems really is great (but note that there are some GMAT PREP problems in the collection, so it might inflate your GMAT PREP grade if you haven't done it yet).
I literally spent one whole day on those problems until solving them became automatic.
thanks Chambax for the great attachments and post. I think the key is also that you really showed great determination and persistence. this is very inspiring. I have the opposite problem (low verbal score!) so I really need to do something similar
