I have been prepping for the GMAT for the past 2-3months now, and here is a breakdown of my test scores:-
1. MGMAT 1 :- 670
2. Veritas: 730
3. GmatClub free tests:- Q51 V42 (translates to ~730 according to the table)
and today i took the MGMAT test 2 after having gone through their books and the OG entirely in the past month and i scored a 660 (Q44 V35)!!
My GMAT date is in 2 weeks and i really thought i was prepared. Is this expected, i heard MGMAT was the best test prep material but i am in a state o panic now!! How do i translate these scores? Yet to take the official GMAT test.

Hi sss27,
I wouldn't worry too much about this, Manhattan GMAT even warns its students about the possible drop in score the second time they take a practice test. There's a few reasons for this, but the primary reason is probably that you are taking too long to apply all the new strategies you learned. Look over your test, it looks like your verbal is a big weakness. Any idea why? Did you feel exhausted? Do you get mostly one type of question wrong? Do you spend too much time on certain types of questions? Work on these weaknesses. Give yourself some time and take the test again, I'm sure you'll see an improvement.

For accurate prediction of GMAT scores, I would stick to the official GMATPrep tests. Take it in one sitting including essay, IR, etc., preferably in a new place, for example a library or a quiet office. You should only use the other tests for broad trends and not get hung up on the scores, because in my experience they tend to be all over the place, meaning they lack consistency. The reasons are numerous as to why that is and I won't go in to it here.
