Well I have been preparing on and off.

I am 22,CFA L3 Candidate, used to work at a BIG 4. Tired and exhausted so quit BIG 4 to pursue further studies.
On the GMAT side- I have done most of quant and 75% of verbal. Took 2 mocks, Veritas 670 Q44 V36 and Kaplan 600 Q38 V34.

I got a month to go and I am preparing really hard.
I am applying for Indian B schools(IMI IMT TAPMI XIMB GLIM) .
Like you even I also fell in the trap of lame GMAT coaching centres:p

Regards!

Vaggar!

I feel you should take it the 3rd time! See brother you already know the tricks of the trade. You know what to study and what can be avoided. You already had a 600 you just need to push it to 700. Improve your quant score from 48 to 50 and verbal score from 20 to 36. That's it!

America has the best institutions, why go for tier 2/3 colleges when you deserve IVY? And the main part is your gonna do MBA only once but the benefits are lifelong. If your going to US you should only go there only if you get into top 20. 600 only means that you have put a little less effort than what was required.

I have heard good reviews about E-GMAT verbal. GC has an offer for premium subscription. $50 for 7 veritas tests, free egmat videos and 1300 quant questions, $50 is Rs3000 looks a bit expensive in INR but trust me the benefits outweigh the costs!

Calm down, relax and have a beer. GMAT is just a test. Your probably gonna forget number system and idioms after 6 months!

Dont take things to your heart just give it another shot.

Regards,
Rakshith

I am suffering as well... I get around 550- 580s... and I need around 650... and the worst thing is that I have my beloved gmat on 27th... 3 days to go... and I need to increase 100... I feel like an idiot because I cannot solve any RC problem.. I wanna go back to my proficiency class, and live there forever :/

so, you are not alone...

I am in the same boat as you Vaggar4. I have been preparing for two months but have not seem much improvement. You are in a good place since you have a scholarship from William and Mary. Which coaching center did you join. What are you planning to do next..

I joined Jamboree during 1st GMAT and Pratibha Paliwal(Logibond) during second GMAT.
Logibond is the worst coaching center and joining it was my worst decision of my life. Paid 20k for the training.
I am planning to join William and Mary.
Have you given your GMAT? what are ur mock scores?
