Hi everyone,
I took the gmat recently and scored a 615 ( Q81, V79, DI 81). Verbal is my strongest section but i messed up the timing on the test day and had to guess randomly for 5 questions, which tanked my score to 79. I was consistently getting 83-88 in my official mocks. I am planning to write the test again in 3 weeks and I need a score of atleast 685 and above to be competitive for the bschools I am applying to. I know timing is the most probelematic area for me but apart from that how should I structure my prep to make sure I reach my desired goal? Any advice will be appreciated

With just 3 weeks to go, here are 4 key tips to make the most of this final stretch:
Revise your notes; focus on strengthening what you have already covered; now is not the time to chase new material.
Stick to official resources and mocks; these are the closest in tone, difficulty, and format to the real test.
Align your routine; get your body clock in sync with the actual exam slot (sleep, meals, focus hours).
Stay positive; Confidence and calmness are often underrated but can make a big difference on test day.

From here, it's a matter of identifying and strengthening all remaining areas of weakness. So, be sure to thoroughly analyze your practice tests and practice sessions to identify those weaknesses. Then, for each area of weakness:
- Carefully review all of the properties, formulas, techniques and strategies related to that topic
- Locate and answer dozens of questions that test that topic.
For each question you answer incorrectly, ask yourself:
- Did I make a careless mistake?
- Did I incorrectly apply a related formula/property/technique?
- Did I fall for a trap answer? If so, what was the trap exactly?
- Was there a concept I did not understand in the question?
By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your skills. This process has been proven to be effective for all topics.
