Thanks for sharing your debrief.

I understand your condition, but 650 is a good score if you are planning to apply to any college except the top 20 or so. If you can make other parts of your application shine, then you can get into a good school. Re taking GMAT is also a good option.

I am in a similar condition as yours. I was consistently scoring around 650 (Q 50 V 28) in my mocks, but got only 540(Q 50, V 15) in actual GMAT. In my exam RCs, my weakest area, were tough, but SCs were horrifying. Most of the SCs in the real exam very very big sentences, with a major part being underlined. There were fully underlined SC questions as well. Talking about CR, I don't know if I got them correct or not.

I am again preparing for the GMAT and my exam is scheduled within a month. I am very weak at RCs, could you please tell me if I should consider doing RC grail. Also, please share your review about RC grail.

You have got nice Quant score buddy.

RC Grail is OK book, may be its good. There are 60 practice passages (I think 20 easy, 30 medium & 10 difficult). They have also included strategies for taking different types of questions. There are few mistakes in this book and for few answers reasoning doesn't sound right. But this is a nice source of RCs. I used to do 3 passages per day from this book and I saw my RC hit rate increasing.
GMAT Prep, OG12, OG13 & Verbal Review RC passages (specially the later ones) are more representative of actual GMAT RC.
You can download GMAT Prep RC collection from this forum.

Thanks buddy for all your help.

Actually I have SC Grail and RC99, so I got confused between RC Grail and RC99. I don't have RC Grail :( .
RC99 has 99 passages out of which 33 are easy,33 are medium and 33 are difficult. Both RC99 and RC Grail are published by Aristotle.

Should I go ahead and do passages from RC99?
Also, where I can get the pdf of RC Grail?

If you have less time left then go for "GMAT Prep, OG12, OG13 & Verbal Review RC passages" these four resources have enough passages to keep you busy for a month if you go for 3 passages per day.
RC99 has some more difficult RCs than actual RCs in GMAT and also there few ambiguous answers. Its been discontinued and replaced with RC Grail. Do it only if you want some additional practice material and have enough time.

There is no pdf for RC Grail. You can purchase directly from Aristotle website or ebay india.

I have already done OG13 thrice, VR 2nd Edition once and GMAT Prep multiple times.
Thanks for the information.

After deliberating for a while, I have decided to give GMAT second and final shot.

I had applied to one of my target college and got a 'ding' without interview  . I guess my low GMAT score did it to me.

Another thing which I believe could have caused 'ding' is very late application (I applied almost on last day). I knew one person having almost same profile as that of me ( but with substantial higher experience than me) had received a call on low 600 almost 2 months before my application.

Anyways I have decided to focus next one month on GMAT and get over this hunger game

Congrats on your decision, this is really brave.
If you guys are running out of CR and RC and want to push for something more "hardcore", I recommend to give a shout at LSAT Official questions. They are very similar to GMAT, well written, better than any crap that Prep companies out there offer.

Please, see a sample attached.

Good lucky guys!
