650 (Q49 V28)...Totally disappointed

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day did not turn out better. While a 650 is a solid Score, based on our prior discussions, I understand why you are not happy with this result (and why you want to retest). Your official Score is remarkably similar to the CAT/mock results that you posted back in early April. At that time, we discussed how you might have gotten 'stuck' in the mid-600s; while you mentioned some additional CATs that you took since then (in which you scored higher), your Official Score certainly implies that you might still be stuck around 650.

Thankfully, you still have plenty of time before you plan to apply - and the GMAT is the same consistent, predictable Exam that it's always been (so you CAN train to score at a higher level). Before we discuss how you might best proceed with your studies, I'd like to know a bit more about how you have been studying over the last 2 months:

1) How many hours did you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used over the last 2 months?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) Were any of these CATs ones that you had taken before?

You might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.
