Hi all,
I am currently at work and am a little too exhausted to put in my detailed debrief but I am a little panicked now and was wondering about whether or not I should do a retake next month.
This was the first attempt after 2.5 months of study and 1.5 months of pure panic, lol.
GMAT 710 (92nd percentile)
Quantitative 44 (58th percentile)
Verbal 42 (92nd percentile)
IR 3 (25th percentile)
AWA waiting but based on diagnostics--should be a 5.
My top choice is USC MAcc where the average GMAT score is 640.
My diagnostic IR was an 8. To be honest, I was so worried about my quant score that I never really paid that much attention to IR or the essay after the first few weeks of prep. I went through the
MGMAT guide for them and chineseburned's post for the essay but that was it.
Is it worth it to take the GMAT again just to show that my IR skills aren't terrible, even if I get a lower overall GMAT score? I also won't have as much time to study as I'm going to be travelling this month.
Late application deadline is on Jan 15th.
My GPA is 3.65 from a top 30 uni in quantitative economics and international relations. Their GPA requirment I believe is a 3.5 or 3.6.
My work experience though for the past 4 years has been through the gamut of NGO, UN, Education and Marketing and Communications for an Educational Institution although these experiences did span 3 different countries....so...? I can't seem to enjoy my 710 with this hanging over my head, lol. Feeling a little lost.
