I have just finished my very first gmat after months of preparing
Very pleased with the Gmat score but,
4 IR, 3 AWA worries me.

Do schools weight much on those scores?
Would it make a difference if I retake and get maybe around 720 and 8 IR, 6 AWA?

Thank you

Naaaaah. Don't even think about retaking. Schools only care about the main score because it's all that is used to determine rankings. This might change, but hasn't yet.

Congratulations!!!!

760 is an excellent score. Congrats:)Why would you want to retake to get a higher IR and AWA? Please don't do it. Go ahead and begin working on your application.

I agree with what others have said - that's a fantastic score! Congrats! It really isn't necessary to retake the exam at this point.

I agree with the others. No need to retake. Your 45V score shows that you are more than comfortable with verbal/english/grammar/etc.

Just be sure that your essays are strong and I doubt anyone will raise an eyebrow.

I agree with the other posters - with that score there's no way I'd retake.

With IR its still pretty new and I get the impression they're still testing the water with it. And surely they don't even look at AWA - you'll write a whole load of essays so if they're written well/badly why would they look at your score?

I think the split is important between Q/V and yours is great. I'd be very happy with that!
