OK ...it seems like my 4 month struggle with the GMAT has not helped me get the score I desired and I probably owe it to a couple of hard RC's and me freezing up at the sight of CR questions for some strange reason. I could not pay attention whenever I was reading a CR. With my practice scores, I was pretty confident of scoring in the high 600's or low 700's range. Anyways, my score reads 620 (45 - Q, 30 - V). My practice scores were as follows:
5-Apr 45 31 620 PR1
20-Apr 39 28 560 PR2
12-May 46 25 590 GMAT Prep 1
26-May 42 28 590 GMAT Prep 2
18-Jun 44 37 650 PR3
1-Jul 47 39 690 PR4
11-Jul 47 39 700 GMAT Prep 1
13-Jul 42 34 630
MGMAT18-Jul 46 39 700 GMAT Prep 2

For Quant, I am going to work on the remaining challenges and take GMAT prep a couple of more times and try and raise the score to a 48.
I think the reason I screwed up on verbal is because I totally blacked out on CR questions. My chain of thought could not connect the premise and the conclusion, I think I did pretty well on SC..thanks to
MGMAT SC guide. However, CR and RC are 2 areas I need to focus on more. I had constantly been getting over 35 in verbal on the previous practice tests so I was really disappointed. Nevertheless, I am going to try again in a month although I lost 2 weeks of vacation studying for this stuff. However, I know I can do it and will not give up.
I need more CR and RC questions though with good explanations. Can anyone recommend more sources? Also, any other advice would be really appreciated. My extensive study routine consisted of:
OG
Verbal and Quant Review
PR GMAT Manual & Course
Kaplan Quiz Bank - which I think was the best of the lot and helped me move from high 500's to the high 600's
MGMAT SC Guide
Challenges - only 7 quant and 3 verbal though
