p (same coin tossed ) * p( 2headed coin /same coin tossed) = p( same coin tossed and 2 head coin)

p(same coin tossed ) = 2/3 *1/2 *1 + 1/3 *1*1 = 1/6+1/3 = 1/2

p(same coin tossed and 2 headed coin) = 1/3 *1 *1 =1/3

p( 2headed coin /same coin tossed) = 1/3/(1/2) = 2/3

so answer is a)2/3

p(same coin tossed) should be = 2/6+1/3 = 2/3

then, p( 2headed coin /same coin tossed) = 1/3/(2/3) = 1/2

so answer should be B

The quickest way that makes sense to me:

Probability of B given A, commonly termed P(B|A) = P (B and A) / P(A)

A = Probability of getting heads = p(fair coin heads) + p(unfair coin heads) = 2/3 * 1/2 + 1/3 * 1 = 2/3
B =Probability of it being the unfair coin = 1/3 (as there's an equal chance of selecting the unfair coin).

P(B|A) = (1/3) / (2/3) = 1/2
