Let, number of smaller boxes = a and bigger boxes= b
a=6
(12a+24b)/(a+b)= 15
12a+24b= 15(a+b)
24b-15b = 15a-12a
9b= 3a= 3*6=18
b= 18/9=2
a+b= 6+2=8
