A certain brand of computer can be bought with or without a hard drive. What is the cost of the hard drive?
(1) The computer with the hard drive costs 2,900 dollars.
(2) The computer without the hard drive costs 1,950 dollars more than the hard drive alone.

Consider statement (1)
Computer with Hard Drive = C+HD = $2900 ----> Not Sufficient since we cant get the price of only Hard drive from this.
Consider statement (2)
The computer without the hard drive costs 1,950 dollars more than the hard drive alone.
Computer without hard drive - hard drive alone = C-HD= $1950 . Not Sufficient.
Combining both we still are able to find the price of the hard disk.
Hence option C is the answer.
