Given :
A closet contains 24 pairs of shoes.
25 percent of those pairs of shoes are black.

Question: how many pairs are NOT black?

Black Shoe pairs = 24 /4 = 6
Shoe pairs that are NOT Black = 24-6 = 18

Answer Option D is Correct.

25% is 1/4 or say 3/4 are not black so
24*3/4 = 18 IMO D

Simple question:
25 % are black hence 75% will be non black. 75% = 3/4
Thus 3/4 of 24 will be non black=
(3/4)* 24 = 18
Ths answer D
