From the graph, One time expense for online meeting capability = $55,000 (for any number of meetings) The cost of face to face meetings increase proportionally with the number of meetings. For 5 F2F meetings, the cost is $20k, for 10 meetings it is $40k and for 20 meetings it is $80k. From the graph, for 14 meetings, the cost is about $55,000.
Hence, Holding face-to-face meetings would cost the company less than would holding the same number of virtual meetings until the total number of meetings held reached approximately 14, when the total costs of face-to-face meetings would meet or exceed the approximately $55,000 of expenses needed to set up the virtual meeting capabilities.
