Bunuel the question STEM for 3rd question is missing, please add it
Without the STEM, it's not possible for answer the question because projections for July cannot be inferred from the given data

Added the missing part. Thank you!

This is such a long question. It took me more than 10 minutes. Can anyone please elaborate the approach for this one in terms of saving time and using approximations

even though the question being easy, to me it seemed a lot calculative and hence time consuming. I know for a lot of DI questions we are supposed to draw inferences by glancing at the graphs itself, for this question however, i was not able to conclude anything relevant to the corresponding questions asked. Any tips ?

Q1. Correct Answer: B. April
Explanation:
To answer this question, we need to compare data from Tab 2 (subscriber share) and Tab 3 (collected revenue).
From Tab 2, we observe that Premium has a smaller share of subscribers than Standard in every month from January through April. In May, both plans have equal share (40%), and in June, Premium surpasses Standard.
From Tab 3, we look at the actual collected revenue for each plan:
In January through March, Premium earns less revenue than Standard. In April, Premium collects $2.28M while Standard collects $2.20M, even though Premium only has 30% of subscribers compared to Standard's 45%.
  • This is the first time Premium outperforms Standard in revenue while still having fewer subscribers.
Therefore, the correct answer is B. April.

Q2 Explanation:
Statement 1:
MonthPremium %SubscribersExpected ($M)Actual ($M)Diff ($M)
Jan15%75,0001.1251.12–0.005
Feb20%100,0001.5001.500.00
Mar25%125,0001.8751.91+0.035
Apr30%150,0002.2502.28+0.030
May40%200,0003.0003.02+0.020
Jun50%250,0003.7503.77+0.020
The largest discrepancy is +0.035 million in March, not June.

Answer: No

Statement 2:
The total shortfall for the Standard plan over six months adds up to $0.26 million, which exceeds $0.25 million.
Answer: Yes

Statement 3:
In both January and February, the Basic plan fell short of its expected revenue by exactly $0.02 million.
MonthBasic %SubscribersExpected ($M)Actual ($M)Diff ($M)
Jan40%200,0001.201.18–0.02
Feb35%175,0001.051.03–0.02

Answer: Yes

Q3 Explanation:
Statement 1:
In July, Basic = 125,000 out of 550,000 total subscribers → ~22.7%
January had 40% Basic share — still the highest.
Answer: No

Statement 2:
Basic: 125,000 × $8 = $1.00M
Standard: 175,000 × $10 = $1.75M
Even with the price increase, Basic revenue does not exceed Standard.
Answer: No

Statement 3:
Premium = 250,000
Total subscribers in July = 550,000
Premium share = 250,000 ÷ 550,000 = 45.5%
Well below 60%
Answer: No
