A drawbridge connects City A and City B. This bridge can be lifted to allow boats to pass through. City A has plans to replace this bridge with one that is higher and wider . This higher bridge will allow most of the boats to pass without interrupting traffic. City A expect that the new bridge will decrease disruptions in traffic.

Which of the following is the best prediction of why the new bridge will not result in decreased disruptions in traffic?

A. Most of the large size boats do not use the existing bridge because of its small height and lesser width between the bridge's supports.

B . The new bridge is twice as wide as the existing bridge and is expected to have twice as much traffic on it at any given time.

C . City B was only a small neighborhod thirty years ago, but is now a big town with many established businesses

D. A hours notice is required by the attendant responsible for drawing the bridge

E. the new bridge will have to be operated by three men, as opposed to only one man required earlier.
