Two ways.
I.
Find the sum of each group.
Total members are 70 and average age is 23.89, so sum =70*23.89=1672.3
Total number of males is 50 and average age is 20.89, so sum = 50*20.89=1044.5
So age of females =1672.3-1044.5=627.8
Number of females =627.8/20=31.39
II.
Weighted average method
Average .....\(20.89 \ \ \ \ \ 23.89 \ \ \ \ \ x\)
Number ......50......70......20
\(\frac{x-23.89}{23.89-20.89}=\frac{50}{20}\)
\((x-23.89)*20=3*50\)
\(x-23.89=7.5\)
\(x=23.89+7.5=31.89\)
