Hi,
Before my recent GMAT Focus attempt, I took the GMAT in January 2017. I scored 780.
I took GMAT Focus on the 29th of November, 2023. I scored 735, which corresponds to 770 on the classic edition of the GMAT (per mba.com).
I conducted a webinar recently in which I shared my preparation (which was minimal and hardly useful for others to know), analytics for my mocks and my actual GMAT attempt (a little useful), and a few tips on how you too can score 100 percentile on the GMAT (much more useful).
Here's the recording of the webinar: (In the description of the video on youtube, you can find the links to the google sheet containing analytics and to the pdf of the ppt I used in the session.)

CJ - super happy to see 735, especially with a Q90. I am sure that you will improve the Verbal score to the 88-90 range soon. Thank you for sharing your stats. I am sure that the community will benefit from it.

I think GMAC has made quant much easier than before now. I almost felt like taking the GRE while doing the quant section. I ended the quant section with 11 minutes on the clock. (Even though my exam analytics show that I took 36 minutes, I distinctly remember ending the section with 11 minutes to go.) In only one out of four mocks I took, I felt like solving GMAT Quant.
Yes, I plan to retake the test. Not sure when! I think I can do better in both DI and Verbal.
