A number is “terrific” if it is a multiple of 2 or 3. How many terrific numbers are there between –11 and 11?

A. 6
B. 7
C. 11
D. 15
E. 17

Starting from -11, every other number is a multiple of 2 and every third number is a multiple of 3.

-10,-8,-6,-4,-2,0,2,4,6,8,10(11) are multiples of 2 and -9,-6,-3,0,3,6,9(7) are multiples of 3.
Also, 0 is present in both the lists. The common numbers present in both the lists are -6,0,6(3)

Therefore, there are 11 + 7 - 3 = 15(Option D) terrific numbers between -11 and 11.
