Let number of chickens = c
and number of pigs = p
p+c = 200
=> 2p+ 2c = 400 -- 1
4p+ 2c = 540 -- 2

From equation 1 and 2 , we get
2p = 140
=> p = 70
c= 130
c-p = 130-70=60

Answer C

A. 70
B. 120
C. 60
D. 130
E. 80

c+p=200
2c+4p=540

p = 70
c = 130
Req ans = 130-70 = 60

Hence C is the answer

C + P = 200 -> C = 200 - P

4P + 2C = 540
4P + 2(200 - P) = 540
4P + 400 - 2P = 540
2P = 140 -> P = 70

C = 200 - P = 200 - 70 = 130
C - P = 130 - 70 = 60

Therefore, the poultry farm has 60 (Option C) more chickens on the farm
