I applied to Tuck last year and did not get in, and I am trying to reapply this year. About a year ago, I heard the rumor regarding someone got into Tuck with fake resume/essay stories. Recently, I saw a surprisingly similar story in this post.
It fears me that if I don’t be a Roman in Rome, there is no way for me to get into top MBA program this year. My application material is all real and how is that even possible to compete with those cheaters with “perfect stories”?
If it is the truth, does that mean that the admission office does not really care about the candidates be honest about their application materials?
Does that mean MBA application is too brutal a war game that people could have done whatever they want to wash other applicants out without constraint of morality and ethnicity?
Does that mean the admission office does not have the capability of ensuring the integrity and fairness of the application process?
Does that mean top MBA program favors students who pursue short term result maximization instead of ethnics and integrity?
Tuck used to be my first pick because of its quality of education and long established reputation. Now I am really upset with the school.
