Answer is B.

But wouldn't there be a comma before the clause starting with even though.

This statement tests comparison using less than idiom. A, C, D, E - Compare quantity with an action that follows after than it did

An example of question in which Being is used in correct answer is OG12 #101

A recent news report noted that over the last ten years many soda manufacturers have more than doubled the prices of soda sold in vending machines even with the cost of manufacturing soda being less today than it did 10 years ago.

IMO B
machinces cost less than tellers cost
