Someone I know is attending an Executive MBA at GSB. It's a 4-year program that was available for registration between 2010 to 2012. Current GSB website is very specific about not offering any MBA degree other than the full time. I've searched everywhere on the web for any news about this, as it seems to be a big news if GSB were to offer such program (most articles on the web points to the fact that GSB adamantly refused to offer a Executive, Online, or Part-Time MBAs). Another possibility is that it's an experimental program.
Has anyone heard of this?

Who is this someone you know? Couldn't you ask them?
Four years, limited registration... sounds to me like an undergraduate discipline in a business major that has some academic similarities to an MBA program but probably isn't. Often times undergraduate programs are offered for just a few years or every other year depending on the demand and professors. Interesting, but as you pointed out, it probably would have been bigger news if Stanford offered an EMBA.
