Change the Semicircle into a Normal Circle. Then find the Diameter.

Area of a Circle is A = Π\(r^2\)

Semi Circle = \(\frac{1}{2}\) of a Circle.

So we can multiply the Area by 2 in order to get the Area of a full circle.

Semicircle has an area of \(40Π\)

Circle has an area of 80Π

A = 80Π

Find the Radius.

r = \(\sqrt{80}\) = 4\(\sqrt{5}\)

r * 2 = Diameter

4\(\sqrt{5}\) * 2 = 8\(\sqrt{5}\)

Answer: E
