A television network sells advertising time on a certain program at the rate of \$10,000 per minute. If the program is shown once a day for 5 days a week, what is the cost of advertising on this program for 3 weeks at 30 seconds per day?

A. \$15,000
B. \$25,000
C. \$75,000
D. \$90,000
E. \$150,000

\$10,000 per minute = 5000 / 30 sec

Total cost of advertising is 3 weeks *5 days * \$5000 = > \$ 75000 , Answer must be (C)

Solution:

The cost of a 30-second ad is \$5,000. The cost of playing such an ad for 5 days a week is 5,000 x 5 = \$25,000, and for 3 weeks the cost is 25,000 x 3 = \$75,000.
