Is this "printing money" happening all around the USA? If so, inflation will start to pick up very soon...

i think you are spot on. bernanke has two choices:

1) reflate the economy (and hope to drain the excess liquidity out before hyperinflation comes)

or

2) oversee the greatest depression in history
