I am possibly one of the unluckiest guys alive lol...
My test got revoked because of a policy violation. Here's the long and short of it:
First when I tried to start application, the PearsonVue application crashed. They could see my webcam but couldn't do anything about it. I tried calling them, and then the ;proctor called me, asking why I'm on my phone. I said I was having problem, she said wait, and i sat around 40 minutes before just rebooting computer.
When I rebooted, I went back to app and proctor allowed me to start. I got in, and was pleasantly surprised at how easy the problems were.
During the middle of the exam, I must have scratched my legs or something because a proctor messaged me "What are you reaching for?". I panic cuz I didn't reach for anything. I respond saying I didn't do anything.
At that exact moment, I get a phone call -- I assume it was her because that's how she communicated last time. I rush to answer the phone, trying to explain myself.
Wouldn't you know it it's my landlady. Another proctor hops in the chat, asks why I am talking on my phone.
LOL.
10 minutes later, she tells me test is over and gives me case number to follow up on.
My questions I guess is: How bad is a policy violation? Is it a P in the report card for schools I'm applying to?
I really don't care about getting a P in the report card as long as I can retake/reschedule the damn thing without any wait. I don't know what the policy is for GMAT online policy violation....
