What should I do if I don't want to go to the school I have accepted the admission offer in? I have already paid the deposit; does it create a binding agreement? What should I say to the admission representative?

Actually it depends on the school and the round you applied to. For example, early round in CBS is binding, while in Tuck is not binding. For most schools, whatever the deposite is non refundable. But you need to contact the admission directly and state your case.

Well the school that I paid the deposit to admits on the rolling basis, and there is nothing on their website as to the acceptance for first round admits is binding. However, I did fill in the form that stated "I intend to enroll in fall 20xx...". Is that a problem?

Maybe you can ask for deferral until next year. U need to contact the university direct and talk with them. It is hard to answer.

I don't understand what your concern is. There is no way you are getting your deposit back, it does not matter anything about binding or not. (That's the point of a deposit, to discourage you from saying you will attend and then not attending. If you don't attend, you forfeit the deposit.)

After that, just don't go to the school (i.e., don't pay tuition, don't provide info for the background check etc.) and tell them you are not going. You ask "does it create a binding agreement." Are you worried they are going to come find you and force you to go to school? How else is it "binding" on you other than losing your deposit.

Maybe if you explain what your plans are instead of going to school there it will be clearer.
