I don't think ADHD diagnosed in adulthood will be taken into consideration. There are established criteria for children and teenagers, but not for adults. In the UK, for example, it is virtually impossible to be diagnosed with ADHD without long verifiable history of symptoms starting from the childhood. Consequently, this diagnose will likely be considered invalid, assuming you are an adult. I have got a suspicion this is similar for the US.

I have ADHD from my childhood itself. It is just that I was not aware that medication is available for these symptoms.
I practised meditation and cardio exercise to cope up with the symptoms.

Recently I visited psychiatrist and psychologist and started to take help from them as well.

Try to write or even call GMAC and see what they have to offer you. What would you want to get from them ideally? It will be great if you would post the outcome here.
