What are the chances of admission in Stanford GSB if one does not have good academics but scored good in GMAT ?

Thanks for your post. This is not the kind of question that can be answered here with this little information. Stanford is a tough program to get into and in order to do an evaluation of your profile and chances, we would need a lot more information including undergrad school and GPA, GMAT score, work experience company and role, extra-curriculars etc. to start.

Depends on what else you have going on, how amazing it is and what diversity you would bring. And, potentially some alt transcript to show you are going to leverage the opportunity. Good quant to show you can do the work. GPA should be US equivalent over 3.0 to be viable, imo. Goes way beyond GPA vs GMAT..
..necessary but not sufficient to have strong GMAT. Keep in mind average acceptance rate is 6% and for Asians and Indians, 3%.
