Hi there-- still not sure I followed on whether the score also did go up in the end on the second test?? And now the original post was removed... but all that said, if it were me yes I'd complain to GMAC.... it may just get you another opp to take the test though.... and I'd only inform the schools if eventually you had a new score.

Thanks, Jen. My most recent score is a 45Q, 40V-700. I come from a strictly social impact/government course. I'm taking a math remediation class which I mentioned in my application, but have almost no math on college transcript. Should I offer to retake the GMAT and let them know for my Round 2 applications now?

Hiya-- I think that if you feel you could improve, you can always try via GMAC etc to re-take once more asap, and if you DO improve, then try and update the schools if they are still deciding... but all that said, there are no guarantees they'll consider updates if after-the-fact, it's just worth a shot if the timing works out just in case... so all a matter of how badly you want to try knowing that it may or may not help, and how much you think you could improve. I wouldn't say it's urgent unless again you feel you really could improve, if talking about R2 apps, many of which are already in decision-mode now.... not sure if you've had interview invites already... good luck!
