Why Simon?: STEM Advantage for all specializations, tightly knitted community, geographical location, global ranking, and career opportunities.
The motivation for MBA and why Now brief?: My decision for MBA started as early as in my college days when I started participating and organizing events. But my seniors made me realize the value of work experience before gaining a business degree. So I have understood the business practices and I'm ready for the learning curve. Moreover, the current market condition is not well, so I'm investing my time in learning so that by the time I get back to work, I can benefit myself and my organization as well.
Short-Term Goal: Project Specialist
Long-Term Goal: Consulting
Link to your interview debrief: Exactly all the questions that have already been mentioned in
Interview Debriefs, only one that was different from others was, "Simon offers a lot of opportunities apart from core academics, given that you do multitasking, what strategies will you follow to manage time effectively?"
Did you use the help of an MBA Consultant?: No
Any comments, feelings, advice to share?: Studying abroad was never in my mind, after the GMAT exam, I received a mail from Simon regarding waiving off application fee and I thought, "let's give it a shot, there's no harm doing that". I didn't prepare for my interview, nor there were any such questions that I needed to rehearse before. The college selects you on overall aspects, so make sure you mention the breadths of your work rather than just depths.
