The motivation for MBA and why Now brief? : Over the course of working in an IT company for 3.5 years, I was exposed to facets of business beyond technology. I wanted to explore the business side of things further and a transition to a Marketing and Account Management role confirmed that I needed an MBA to up my management skills. The MBA would allow me to merge both facets of my professional life - marketing and tech - and transition into a PM/PMM role in a tech company.

Any comments, feelings, advice to share?: Talk to current students and alums. More so than other business schools, I feel that Foster is big on community, which is why it's important to know your fit with the class and the program. Start a little early if you can. Foster's essays have a higher word count than those of most other b-schools and that will give you the opportunity to go into the nitty gritties of your story.
