1) Have you decided if you are going to matriculate or are you still holding out for another decision?
Not yet, waiting for the Chicago GSB R2 decision.
2) Where are you holding out for or what would it take for a backup school to win you over?
See above.
3) Are you still planning on working on R2 applications or are you gonna save the application fees and enjoy your new found peace of mind?
My first (and only) R1 admit came after the R2 deadlines in most schools. Yeah, now I will just sit back and relax.
4) Have you begun to dream what its going to be like to quit your job and head back to school?
I already quit dreaming and got down to practicalities
5) Sobered up from the celebration?
Yeah, it was quite a short celebration and I didn’t drink too much. But, there will be more.

Yes, Ross is my top choice and I matriculate. I have submitted to Wharton in R2 but just to keep myself busy while waiting for Ross decisions.

It would be nice to be admitted to Wharton, but see p.1 for my top choice

I have nothing else to worry about. Concentrated on work and learning a new language.

A little bit. Thinking more about what it takes to move and how to organize the processes: papers, loan, visa. Also think about doing some research regarding internships/recruiting elaborating the new information from Kresge library.

Short celebration. Think about glass of gluhwein end of this week with my friend, who has just started her GMAT study.

I have four R2 apps in since I just found out about Ross. I love the school, but the location may make it difficult for my wife to find a job. We shall see how R2 goes and what the job situation looks like.

Well I applied to H/S in R2, but really because I wanted to take a shot and not think back some day and wonder "what if." I don't really expect to be interviewed. If I get into Chicago I will probably go there. If I get into UCLA I will have a tough decision.

R2 apps were already submitted a solid two weeks before I found out anything from Ross. There went about 1000 bucks

Not really. I am incredibly busy at work right now and I am driving several major projects. Maybe once I get these projects delivered I will start to daydream

I was actually sort of buzzed when Ross called. I thought I was out of the running since they hadn't called on Friday, so I was drowning my sorrows in good beer and bad Seahawks football.
