I got the accounting book 10 days ago or so but I'm in TX and registered for orientation on the first day.

Havent looked at it yet. Still "enjoying" mbamath.

I was recently accepted off the waitlist! Really excited, but have so many questions. When is orientation? When is the 1st day of class? I was so excited during the acceptance call-- I didn't digest any of the information haha.

Ozzie,

congratulations on the acceptance. You should get a link to the class of 2012 website that will answer all your questions. Orientation starts August 2nd and I believe the first day of class is August 16th.

I still don't have access to the site, is it going to be hard to find an apartment this late? I was given a couple of apartment links including Stateside. Does anyone have a list of popular living areas for MBA students?

I just got back from Austin a week and a half ago and there were plenty of apartments. It really depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for a new place those have been going fast since they offered some nice discounts. If you are really interested I can walk you through what I had found on the phone.
