https://mba.yale.edu/news_events/CMS/Articles/7109.shtmlIn case you haven't read it, this is a really great example of how YSOM CDO works with each student. Some schools have this idea that it is up to each student to find an internship or a job but YSOM CDO understands (and takes pride in) that each FT student gives up a FT job to attend YSOM and each student carries huge opportunity cost by attending bschool. They really care about each student's situation/goals and try to do as much as they can (sometimes I think they care more than I do

).
I've mentioned before (
summer-2010-internship-candidates-how-is-the-search-going-89385.html?view-post=695184#p695184 ) that I accepted a summer internship with a really prestigious boutique IB in restructuring. This bank did not come to YSOM for on campus recruiting but has history of hiring YSOM students every year. CDO worked out everything for me when I asked them how I can apply for a position there. CDO really has a lot of resources available. You just have to ask and usually they let you know of all the options even if you don't ask.
One of the MD I've met there is a YSOM alum and we talked a lot before making my decision and etc. Since YSOM only has FT program and the class size is small, you really get individual attention here.
Anyway, just thought I would share that above story with you guys in case you guys missed it.
