Hi Rishab,
Thanks.

Want to improve timing and confidence. I check atleast 4 times before clicking YES. I got V25 with 73 percentile on SC. RC and CR have 25 percentile each. My first section has 88% correct answer BUT TOOK 3.02 min.. whole score suffered. Please guide.

Regards,
Basim

happy to help :)
Low score on RC and CR , simply means you don't have good reading and understanding habits of passages. First of all develop a reading habit, I see you post from mobile, so download apps of UK and US newspapers, journals and read them ,Download 1 scientific also ,as it will help in RC passages. There is a certain flow of passage and you need to understand that, how they are constructed. Understand passages while continuing reading.

Now coming to study part: For CR can advise you to read Powerscore CR Bible. If you don't have much time before 2nd GMAT , read short notes, Many people have made notes of that and you will find in download section of this forum.
Do CR inference ques will help you in RC also. Do CR questions and read in explanations how to get to answer using critical thinking. THis is something which cannot be taught, you have to develop, so practice and learn, Guidelines can be obtained from books. EMPOWER course can help you in CR and RC as well, you can take 7 days trial to see.
i cannot recommend any course as i self studying from this forum as there are lot of free resources.
Also you might have good score in SC, but as you said your time was more, i can't say it was because of what, But if it was more of SC, then you might not have control over small things in SC which help to remove 2-3 options directly. Ron's videos can help you in SC. Search in this forum and you can get link or see it on vimeo. There are about 100 videos , also on RC, It will help you.

Have a great future.

Dear teacher,

Thanks for your valuable advice.

I will buy Powescore CR and watch RON's videos on all 3 verbal parts.

I have started reviewing gmat club more actively.

What do you ideally think the time bar for each type of verbal question (for the target of V 42)?

Please explain.

Regards,

Basim.

after you gain efficiency you will be able to solve SC in 1.20 Min- 1.30 barring long SC in which whole sentence is underlined. CR -1.3-1.4,
See you have just less than 2 Minutes if we divide equally and you have to gain somewhere if you are loosing somewhere.
RC you should able to solve under 7 minutes, It will save lot of time for CR and difficult SC questions. Remember SC gives Leap on score, so try to get maximum right
