Hello everyone! This is my first time posting on GMAT Club!
Thanks to all the positive stories on this forum I've been lurking for a while, I have decided to retake the GMAT in hopes in getting into a better school.
I took my first practice exam with GMATPrep from the official MBA website and scored a 540 before any practice around a year agoo.
After this initial practice exaam, I enrolled in the Princeton review class and studied for a good 10 weeks.
I eventually scored a 610 (Q47 V27) on the official exam last September (2015).
I feel like although I put in effort, I did not put in my best effort and definitely slacked a little even with the class.
I am now much more motivated and am aiming for a 670-680 range. I would like some advice on which GMAT prep course I should take found on this website.
As you can tell, my Verbal is my weakness. Although I am poor in all sections, my worst section is SC. I improved dramatically since taking the Princeton review course, but I still miss many of these questions.
I have read that the e-GMAT, although I am born and raised in the states, is a great course for improving verbal. I was also looking at Knewton, but it seems to have been discontinued?
Regardless, I am looking for a course that really focuses on the basic and intermediate concepts of verbal. I believe getting my verbal up 32-33 (I have scored 32 in my past practice exams on verbal) and improving my Quant slightly will help me achieve my goal.
One note is that I am looking for a course that isn't too long (no more than 2-3 months) since I know I will not be able to commit to an extremely long program.
Any other advice besides which GMAT prep course I should take will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help!
