Advise on GMAT experience: incident report

Dear All,
I am wondering if anyone has had similar experience with the GMAT exam. I took my exam on Monday and after my quant session, I was told by the proctor that he had to file an incident report to GMAC as I had left my sweater on the desk and not on the back of my chair. I took my sweater off partway through the exam as I got too warm and as there was lots of space on the desk, I left it there. When I was doing my quant halfway, I asked for a pad change and the proctor told me to put my jacket on the chair but as I was in the middle of the exam and time was ticking away, I completely forgot about it. When I came back from my optional break, I was told by the pearson guy that I had violated the rules/security issue by leaving my sweater on the desk and he claimed that his collegue had told me twice which was not true. So I said I was really sorry but I forgot and invited him to check my sweater which he did and found nothing and I then put it on the back of my chair and continued the exam in a bad mood. I am sure the guys have video recording in the room so they should be able to see that I have not touched my sweater or even used it since leaving on the desk or there is anything even suspicious.
I am really concerned that GMAC might cancel the score or withold it as I really need the score for application. Can anyone advice? feeling very lost
Thanks so much.
BW,
