Thank you for your post. I understand the stress the post-MBA career aspiration aspect of the application brings. My question to you is what skillset will an MBA bring to your as a professional that you currently do not have? Then ask yourself what do you want to do with those skills? Be introspective. Whether it's consulting or an industry switch, your personal motivations for an MBA will guide you to the right decision.

Hi,
I am an Indian female with 10 years of work experience in Energy sector. I am from Project Management background. My GMAT is 690. I am applying to 3 schools in USA - Fisher, W.P Carey ASU & Smeal MBA Penn state .
For my goals I am juggling with 2 options.
1.Option -Supply chain in E-Commerce industry
Issue Faced - Role is quite relevant to the work I do (Transferable Skills) but i donot have strong personal motivation for industry switch. Most of the info is general like fast paced - upcoming in India etc etc. So after 10 years sudden industry switch is not very convincing.
2 Option - Supply chain and manufacturing operations function in consulting industry.
Issue faced = I have client experience and skills relevant to the profile but then I am not from a hard core consulting background. Also writing consulting after 10 years work ex - Is it advisable.
Pls help. I am really stressed out here!
Thanks.
