Indian's IT as well as BPO industry, [modifier], appears to be softening out.
Only when 'and' is used we can use the plural form. In this case 'as well as' is used. Hence verb conjugation has to be singular.
Hence A,D & E are out..
Between B &C. B is incorrect because 'like' cannot be used in this context when we are using examples.
Hence C is the right answer.

I would choose answer as " A " ...... would explaint the same if i am right
