Hello Everybody!
So a bit of a background, I have very low GPA, from my undergraduate (2.69) and I want to get into a Masters in Accounting program at the Golden Gate University here in San Francisco and if I get a good GMAT score, I'll improve my chance of getting in. I know it's not a top school so I probably don't need anything close to 700+ to get in, but I figured, if I'm going to take the GMAT, I might as well aim for a high score. Who knows, I might be able to use it to get into a good MBA program in a couple of years.
I just bought all 8 of
Manhattan GMAT books from Amazon as well as the OG. Do you guys think that should be enough for me to study or should I get one of General Strategy books like the Kaplan Live Online? And for those who have used the
Manhattan books, how many months should I allot to studying and how many hours a week? I haven't taken one of the practice tests yet but I'm usually a pretty good test taker.
Thanks a lot!
