Work Exp :
1. Worked for 4.2 years in Infosys. Progression from systems engineer to senior systems engineer.
- Handled several modules for US based client project, completed tasks as a sole person within tight deadlines and trained and mentored many new comers.
- Took many certifications within Infosys during the same timeline.
- Infosys Appreciation certificates and client appreciation certificate.
Volunteer Experience :
1. Involved in education of poor kids and other extra curricular activities at a local NGO.
2. Was a volunteer Animal Welfare NGO in the past for animal rescue.
3. Volunteer at Rotary club for education of kids and spreading awareness to them for maintenance of hygiene.
Extra Curricular:
1. Literary Captain of school for 2 years.
2. Certificate for presentation of research papers in National Level conference, Twice.
Do I have a chance at Alberta ?

On the work front, your experience is amazing. You do have some qualities, such as leadership and international exposure. I recommend that you mention impact and career trajectory as well. The best part is that you've been to other countries and must have taken what you've learned and applied it to your own. As a result, it demonstrates how you get the most out of your experience, which is quite unusual.
Regarding your ECs, you can mention any hobby or something that you enjoy doing since this will help you to show different aspects of your personality. Your post-MBA goals align with your prior work experience, which is a plus. Whatever you've mentioned about goals is on the surface, but you'll need to convey it more strategically and effectively. You may want to read an article on how to frame practical post-MBA goals essays, you will get some insights on how to communicate the convincing case to the adcoms.
Let's move on to the elephant in the room, your age. I agree with the prior post that your age is a concern. Now, how can you make your case more convincing? Consider the question, "Why MBA?" And "Why MBA now?" And clear your mind with compelling reasons to seek an MBA. The majority of the problem is solved if you are clear about it. The rest is up to your application, how you connect the dots, and how you create a great narrative. The average GMAT requirement for Alberta is 630; I recommend retaking the GMAT and increasing your score by 30-40 points to maximize your chances. On the work front, your work experience at Infy must bring examples of leadership, innovation, impact, some international experience, and career progression. Exhibiting all these in your apps will help demonstrate you as high a performing individual. Your Volunteer experience and ECs are okay-ish. You can highlight your contribution to the NGO as well as your motivation for doing so. Also, try to include something unique in your profile that explains why you should be chosen and how you will contribute to the community. What are your post-MBA goals?
Overall, you have a good profile and a decent chance at Alberta provided you increase your GMAT score and prepare a strong application. What matters most in your application is connecting the dots and creating a compelling narrative.
