BITSoM has a Round 3 deadline for admissions. The following is the info.

Round 3 deadline: March 26th
Decisions will be out by the end of April.

Can any one of shortlisted candidates give a rough fig on your GRE scores ?

What is min score required to get an Interview Shortlist?

700 is the median for BITSoM, should aim closer to/higher than that. That being said, have seen mentees with a 670 also getting a call because of other things in the profile - past academics, work, extracurriculars.


This is for GMAT. For GRE, ~322-325 is what i have seen

Hello! I have my interview tomorrow with BITSoM and just wanted to check if anyone had some advise for me?

This is basis the experience of our BITSoM mentees who had their interviews in this admissions cycle - the panel typically consists of 2 interviewers (from the ad-com and the BITSoM admin team). The questions are centred around your rationale behind an MBA right now, why BITSoM, questions around your short term and long term goals, what you have achieved in the past and a lot of follow-ups on your essays. Sometimes, they tested the technical prowess of the interviewees by giving them situational questions around their industry (marketing/finance/operations). As long as you stay true to what you have presented in the application and have really thought through your post-BITSoM goals and reasoning behind the same, you shouldn’t get in trouble. All the best!

What is the usual waitlist movement like?

I have heard that Bitsom rolled out the admission offers within a week of interview completion in R3... Is it true?
