Hi rikinmathur,

Based on the scores of your practice exams, I think you are in a great spot. Let me know how the next practice test goes and we can take things from there.

Following up on my earlier message, I took another practice test today and got a 740 (49V, 41V). I had an entire passage in Verbal at the end that I missed with 4 questions purely because I ran out of time (I think part of this is the higher difficulty of questions I am finally getting to but I end up spending a bit more time than should on each question + I should have managed my time better on a long 700 level passage in the middle of the section). Additionally, I made multiple silly mistakes in Quant.

As a reminder, my earlier scores were :
Gmat Prep Practice Test 3 - 730 (50Q, 40V) Jun 1
Gmat Prep Practice Test 4 - 760 (50Q, 44V) Jun 12
Gmat Prep Practice Test 2- 770 (50Q, 44V) Jun 21 (Retake from this one I took a while ago, only remembered a couple of questions on V)

I am in a conundrum as I am close to my target score (760) but definitely had a few hiccups today (including some silly mistakes). Should I schedule my exam and take it now or should I try to get a more consistent 760?

Would love experts (ScottTargetTestPrep MartyTargetTestPrep) and anyone else to chime in!

Hi rikinmathur,

This really is your call, but I would take the exam if I were you. You can always take the GMAT again if you need to.

Why don't you just give it a shot now and then retake if you need to?
