Hi, I applied to R2 HBS. Got an interview and a rejection post that.
Can you advise me on a few things:

1. What changes are advised for the reapplication for essay, resume, and goals? Nothing much changed actually.
2. LoR - is it okay to go with the same letters or a quick update by the same recommenders? or is it advised to change the same?
3. R1 vs R2, for the ding post-interview in R2(March 31st, 2020)
*all three are HBS re-application specific.

Also, whether you provide hourly consultation(paid or free) for advice only and not writing full essays?

this will be helpful.
Thanks

Thanks for your inquiry.

1) Hmm. I think we'd need to see where the essay can be improved. Obviously it wasn't terrible or you wouldn't have gotten an interview invitation, but you will want to bring out something that has changed or that you've learned since you applied and include it in your essay. Perhap there are other ways that the essay could be improved also.
2) You can use the same recommenders, but they letters should be updates.
3) If you believe, you will have some significant assignment between R1 and R2, I'd apply R2. If you don't see any noteworthy increase in responsibility or promotion, apply R1.

We do provide hourly based advising. .

Best,
Linda Abraham
